Oh, how we love the Basel public pools!

So we belong to a pool at home, and these public pools in Basel put our home pool to shame!  On our way to find the soccer fields, we happened upon the most incredible pool complex complete with kiddie pool, sand box, lane swimming, current pool, double diving boards and a huge slide.  We had so much fun!!! We also got veggies for the week, bread and some vegan cupcakes at the farmers market and we visited one of the many playgrounds.  Many of which have ping pong tables and volleyball courts.

We are all a little sore tonight.  Even though the public transit is great, there is a LOT of walking.  We are currently stretching out for tomorrow.  The weather is hot so we may hit the pool again in the morning, it's only $3 for kids and $6 for adults and although things are expensive here, this seems to be the best deal going!
